Erasmus University Charter
In 2007, the Academy of Fine Arts of L’Aquila applied to participate in the Erasmus Programme which is part of the Lifelong Learning Programme. The Lifelong Learning Programme runs through to 2013, and replaces the Socrates programme.
The Academy’s application was actually a formal request to renew its Erasmus University Charter and was sent to the European Community Commission and the National Agency for evaluation before the closing date of 28/02/2007.
In addition to supplying all of the documentation and information requested, the Academy also provided the compulsory Erasmus Policy Statement (EPS) outlining the Institute’s strategies and objectives for the following seven years.
The Academy of Fine Arts of L’Aquila was awarded the Erasmus University Charter by the European Commission for the entire length of the LLP and for all of the activities therein described.
