MOBILITY FOR THE TRAINING OF TEACHING AND NON-TEACHING STAFF

The Erasmus-LLP also allows teaching and non-teaching staff to participate in mobility programmes for training purposes. This mobility programme provides staff with the opportunity to undergo training at a host Institute or business in one of the countries participating in the Community programme. Higher Education Institutes participating in these programmes must have been awarded Erasmus University Charter.

Eligibility
Admission requirements for this type of mobility are the same as those for study mobility programmes and the rules that govern this type of mobility are the same as those for the teaching mobility programme.

Mobility grants
The Erasmus programme contributes to the cost of courses undertaken in the mobility programme; individual grants cannot exceed € 900,00 per programme.  Staff training mobility cannot however be unfunded.
Grants can be awarded for a minimum of 1 week (5 working days) to a maximum of 6 weeks. Mobility programmes of 1 week are only permitted when work commitments do not allow otherwise and this must be confirmed in writing by the individual’s Institute.
The National Agency finances 2 mobility programmes for a maximum of 7 days each. Grants can only be awarded for training at Institutes or with businesses with whom bilateral agreements have been established.
Staff training objectives and the programme to follow at the host structure must be detailed in the work plans presented by the candidate; work plans must be approved by the candidate’s Institute as well as the host Institute.
At the end of the mobility programme, the grant recipient must present a short report detailing the results of the training.
Selection criteria for staff are the same as those used in the teacher mobility programme.

NB

The Academy applies for staff training grants annually, on the request of its personnel.
